[sfbarentersfed] Budget projections show deficits rising in S.F.

An article in yesterday's Chronicle (below) includes lots of grist for future LPSF ballot arguments and such. The "net position" data – how much everything the city government owns is worth, compared to its liabilities, and how it compares with other U.S. cities – is especially good to know about. I don't recall seeing such info for San Francisco before.
  
  I also noticed that this is another Heather Knight article. I've seen her byline on a number of useful pieces in the past, and she could be a good one to invite to come speak to us sometime if she's willing. Thanks to Robert Tillman of the SFBARF list, who is no babe in the woods when it comes to the harmful impacts of SF's statist economic policies, for passing it along.
