SF Tea Party

Starchild,

Since I joined this forum where everyone (who thinks alike) desires to have
civil discourse I have been disparaged constantly. Whither neocon, a
republican, yada yada yada. As I said before I don't really give a hoot.

The irony is that when others on this board are confronted with their own
ill conceived notions, theories, or namecalling they immediately call for
censorship. And for the record........yes, the way Rob uses the word
Republican is derogatory. The implication being obviously, someone is not
genuinely libertarian.

Frankly the litmus test for being a genuine libertarian in this group is
fascinating and seems to require a bit of the lockstep I referred to
earlier..................

Your call for civil discourse comes frankly a bit late.........but I'm not
going to make a big deal about it here because you have in the past
attempted to keep things civil............(Eric comes to mind)

I am not aware of the policy regarding e-mail of the state party, my brief
introduction to the libertarian party in California has been you, Eric, Rob
and a few others on this board.

Someone has some work to do.............

If you want to e-mail my friend in Texas e-mail me privately and I will give
you his address. I am certain he wouldn't mind a private or public
discourse with you or the group, but that is his decision not mine.

G

Starchild,

When I said polite working folk I meant polite working folk. I have lived
in NYC/San Francisco for a long time and have no illusions that all workers
in this city report to an office with a coat and tie every morning.

For the record I have no problem with sex workers..........and who
knows......perhaps I've visited a few in my distant-not-so-distant
past............the alcohol seems to have made my recollection a bit
fuzzy............so my memory can't be trusted.

So I appreciate your explanation, but I still maintain my stance that all
the people I met at the tea party seemed like polite working folk. As in
people who worked for their money, and resented a government who was willing
to reach into their pockets and remove unfathomable amounts of cash.

'Since I joined this forum where everyone (who thinks alike)'

We don't think alike; we just actually think. That's the difference.

'I have been disparaged constantly. Whither neocon, a republican, yada yada yada.'

  Well, if the shoe fits....

As I said before I don't really give a hoot.

'And for the record........yes, the way Rob uses the word Republican is derogatory. The implication being obviously, someone is not genuinely libertarian.'

Duhhhh....aren't they like, two different parties?

'Frankly the litmus test for being a genuine libertarian in this group is fascinating and seems to require a bit of the lockstep I referred to earlier.'

I think it would benefit you to go back and read your posts before accusing anyone else of lockstep thinking.

'Your call for civil discourse comes frankly a bit late.'

  Ditto.

'I am not aware of the policy regarding e-mail of the state party, my brief introduction to the libertarian party in California has been you, Eric, Rob and a few others on this board.'

Too bad it hasn't done you any good.

Typically when dealing with an internet bully the quickest way to frustrate
them is to simply ignore

But sometimes I can't help myself

There is always a troll like Eric on most boards........someone clever
enough to use reasonable grammar and a sense that they are making an
acceptable, perhaps "righteous" statement...........but the sole intent of
the e-mail is to anger, belittle, or insult.
