SF Medical Pot

"Militia", "a word that needs to be redeemed." "A well regulated
Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right
of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Steve,
I do understand your point of view, and you are right that today the
connotation is not good. But, I am with Mike on this one, the word
needs to be redeemed.

If there is interest in some sort of gathering (peaceble assembly, I
hope), I would suggest that Phil, or other volunteers, recruit and
organize groups to stand in front of the pot clinics.

I think the negative connotation might be a good reason to use it.

It's a word that needs to be redeemed.

I'd like to very strongly recommend dropping the use of the name
"militia" because of it's negative connotation. I would suggest
"activist blockade" or something along those lines.
