The hearings on the purchase of the Armory building in the Mission by BDSM video producers Kink.com were somewhat informative as to the attitudes San Franciscans hold about BDSM. Suffice it to say that while BDSM remains controversial (though probably no more so than guns, hereabouts) I don't think we're going too far out on a limb by including the topic in our brochure. We want to be ahead of the curve in supporting unpopular freedoms, not behind it -- right?
