Considering that members of Congress are not even required to live in the districts they represent, the rule that signature-gatherers for candidates must live in the district is a real hoot. Is it possible for Sheila to temporarily re-register in SF? You don't have to have an actual address in order to be registered to vote. Perhaps if she just turns in a filled-out registration form listing her address as the corner of 18th Street and Sanchez along with the signatures, that will take care of it? Opinion, Richard?
