RSVP for Tax Day activities

So that I know how much to buy in the way of sign-making materials, I'd
like to ask everyone to RSVP for:

1) Volunteering with our Tax Day outreach (handing out Million Dollar
Bills at Market and Montgomery) on April 15 from 4pm to 6pm.

2) Holding a sign at that Tax Day outreach event.

3) Making a sign at the sign-making party from 5pm to 6?/7?pm this
Saturday the 11th.

Basically, if we don't have enough people for #1, then #2 and #3 make no
sense, and if we don't have anyone for #2, then #3 makes no sense. And
if #3 makes no sense, then my spending money on posterboard and markers
makes even less sense.

Rob

Rob,

I'd be happy to hold a sign. I would also distribute any material with
a libertarian message and contact info.

Warm regards, Michael

Based on the RSVPs, it seems that the only person willing to hold a Tax
Day sign (Michael) won't be at the sign-making party.

So that we don't have a repeat of last year's Pride Parade sign-making
party (Francoise and I were the only two there, and we managed to make a
grand total of one double-sided sign, which I carried in the parade),
should we just go back to our original plan of going somewhere on Folsom
for Chinese or Indian or ordering pizza or whatever folks at the meeting
want to do for the social hour? (And unlike Milano's, there's no
problem in the Archstone Conference Room with you just bringing your own
snacks and drinks for yourself or to share.)

Then, if Michael and I really want to hold up signs, we can make one at
home and bring it to the Tax Day event. Otherwise, we'll all just
concentrate on handing out Million Dollar Bills. My "sign" may just be
the LPSF sweatshirt that I'll be wearing, and if there's time, I'll make
my "We have second-class rights but pay first-class taxes" marriage
equality poster board sign on my own time. What does everyone think
about that plan?

Rob,

Your plan sounds fine.

I have set aside 4 - 6 PM for the tax protest. See you then.

Warm regards, Michael
