In Ron Paul's 1/10/05 fundraising letter, he effusively praises Tom
Coburn, the senator-elect (OK), as a defender of liberty and an
"answer to our prayers."
Rather, many of Coburn's positions (www.coburnforsenate.com) seem to be an answer to our nightmares. He supports Bush's war and supports laws prohibiting voluntary marriage and burning your own flag. As a Ron Paul admirer, I'm stunned.
If you can explain this, I'm interested in your thoughts.
