Yes, I do agree with the principle of what I believe you are describing as winner take all. There are certain basic rights the majority cannot take away from the minority, all spelled out in constitutions, charters, etc. Outside of those basic rights, the majority in a community determines what will be.
Independently from the above, if we are speaking specifically of voting systems, then "winner take all" has a specific meaning, which distinguishes that system from proportional representation. We will, and should, have whatever system the majority chooses.
