Marcy,

  You mean like happened with the surveillance brochure I wrote (see attachment)? I request an agenda item for the upcoming meeting to give me similar authorization to prepare a final version of that document, along with whoever else wants to sit down with me in person and hash out a revision.

Yes! My point exactly! As I recall we revised that brochure literally to death, and nothing was accomplished. Yes, by all means request an agenda item on this subject for the next meeting; we could also discuss printing costs and method of delivery of the brochure to the general public.
