REPORT - Headlands Institute for 2007 Convention

Marcy,

That's what I'm talking about -- the dates on Terry's email. I think those dates were simply the proposed cruise dates, and not when the convention must be held. I'm copying Terry on this so he can correct me if I'm wrong.

Starchild,

What about the dates on Terry Floyd's e-mail? I would thing that
before we do anything else, we might need to settle the date issue?

Marcy

Yes, the two Cruise Shp proposals were for April 27 - April 30 or May 11
- May 14. These were Aaron's preferred dates, since they were after the
April tax season. He asked me specifically if we could try to schedule
our proposal after April 15. The bylaws do not specify when our
convention must be held, but until 2004, we almost always scheduled
around the Presidents Day weekend in February.

Since Aaron is almost certain to put himself on the convention
committee, he is more likely to support our proposal if we can schedule
after April 15. Or rather, he will be less likely to squash our
proposal if the schedule is convenient for him.
