The latest news has Conservative Republican groups telling Bush not to nominate US. Atty.Gen. Gonzalez to replace Justice O'Connor. Why not? They say because Gonzalez is not conservative enough and is too liberal.

It is going to be a fun-filled Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on whomever Bush nominates. The likes of which will make the Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas hearings seem like Sunday afternoon picnics. I'm certain there'll be a Bush full-court press to get someone approved for the start of the Supreme Court in Oct.
