Brian,
I understand you are at this point committed to attacking Ron Paul
at every opportunity. But you should really draw the line at seeking
to divide his supporters from the LP, and vice-versa. My experience
suggests that TJ is right. You speak about Ron Paul Meetup group
members falling back into the fold, but the reality is that a
substantial number of them, perhaps even a majority in this area,
were not Republicans to begin with. Discouraging Libertarians from
reaching out to former Democrats, Libertarians, independents who
registered Republican to vote for Ron Paul -- or perhaps did not; I'm
sure I'm not the only RP supporter who stopped short of changing my
voter registration to GOP -- serves no constructive purpose.
