failures politically and have done very little to advance liberty.

Example: I submit that having Ron Paul (R-TX) in Congress, is many

times

over the public platform for libertarian ideas than all the elected
Libertarian Party members in any office. This is why I believe the

best

hope for increasing liberty in the near term lies with Republican

members of

Congress such as Flake (R-AZ) and Shadegg (R-AZ).

I agree. Let's not repeat the mistakes of the Objectivists (or the Nationalists) by deifying our founders.
