A very good choice of restaurants, David (though Aziza would also have been excellent). I particularly recommend the appetizer of lamb tongues. A very generous serving of about six tongues, napped with a beautiful saffron-sour cream sauce; in size, shape, color, and texture, they're exactly like eating a plateful of penises.
Oh my gosh! is lamb tongues the only thing on the menu?

Dear Amarcy;
The menu also includes honeyed lambs eyeballs and the only part of the lamb not served is the baaaa. I understand the lambs wool fricassee is delightful and crunchy.

Dinner is scheduled for Sunday November 6th. (info

restaurant as the arrangements with Aziza didn't work
out. The new place is now Maykadeh in North Beach.http://dinesite.com/info/rstrnt-273406/??&t=0
They have excellent food and many vegetarian
selections as well.We've always had a fun crowd in the past so I
encourage everyone to attend this event if you can.
Although this is generally considered a social affair,
it is a great opportunity to bring a friend who might
be interested in libertarianism or joining the LP.
Ease them in gently!Please RSVP to me -

Dear Amarcy;
Not true - it's people doing some tongue in cheeking and leg pulling. Persian menus for dinner encompass a range of healthy veggie style and lamb - chicken - beef styles.
For those of you who know what this means it is an HALAL restaurant a Muslim version of the Jewish Kosher. In Israel, Muslim Arabs can go to Kosher meat markets etc because it is Halal.
Try this url for a view of a sample of their menu:
http://www.maykadehrestaurant.com/
Try this url for a full listed menu there is an astonishing choice of meals from full veggie to full carnivore and everything in between
http://www.maykadehrestaurant.com/dinnermenu.htm
AND they have a full bar!!!!!!!
