I'd like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Celine's contribution. Her having translated Michael's flyer into Chinese obviously made a huge difference in the Richmond district last Saturday. I think probably 80% of the flyers we distributed went to Chinese speakers, and people were obviously impressed to be handed a flyer in Chinese. Many thanks to Celine!
I'm glad the Chinese flyers were a hit! I wish I could have been there
to say, yeah, I translated that, and here's why I think Denny should be
elected mayor. My schedule has been hectic lately, but I'll try to make
it to the next Saturday Neighborhood event, maybe the one in Chinatown.
Here's a little trivia: Did you guys know that there is a cafe named
after Denny on Geary? Wouldn't it be cool to have a sign that says vote
for Michael Denny at Denny's Cafe? Just a thought.
