I know what you mean. A single afternoon felt like a year and a half to me.

I think the overstuffed box of pink brochures I gave to Marcy with the other
Chairperson materials in January will be more than sufficient for this year,
Mike. Thanks for offering.

But honestly, to anyone considering volunteering, it's really not bad. I
advise bringing a folding chair to let yourself take a break every now and
then. Otherwise, it reminds me of tabling activities back in college. It
can be fun if you try not to take it so seriously. :slight_smile:

Also, no pain/no gain. Yes, staffing the Pride Festival booth is hard work. However, I believe that talking and interacting with hundreds of folks (locals, tourists, gay, straight, students, seniors, angry, positive, etc.) gives activists an additional necessary perspective on politics and on life. Also, excellent practice in what works and what does not in spreading the libertarian message, or any message you might want to communicate with others.
