Please forgive me Chris and Francoise, but I do think this thread is on topic, as the green house effect is the driver for much socialist political fervor.
re Mandatory classes in Chemistry , Physics, and Biology.
What I have discovered from my education in biology, chemistry, and physics is that the more you know, the more you know how little you know. Education in Science is an exercise in increasing the scope and depth of your ignorance and learning the tools for challenging the humbug of those who pretend to know it all. with questions and experimental findings.
More education would probably just increase my ability to better probe the ignorance of the true believers.
I am concerned about the possibility of human induced global warming. That is why it is so important to explore all possible causes, otherwise we mey be trying to control an effect rather than a cause.
