Marcy,
Our number wouldn't actually be given out as a callback number, but
would simply be the number that showed up on peoples' caller IDs. My
best guess is that it would not result in a significant number of
added calls to our number that would pose a burden. It's simply a
small way to lend concrete support to the Yes on K campaign, which
other than our endorsement, hasn't been particularly forthcoming from
the LPSF as an entity. If anyone does call us, or identify the number
as belonging to the LPSF, that's free advertising and exposure for
us. However I don't know anything about the technical details -- if
Rob is correct, then it's a moot point. But I think it would be a
good move to formally make the offer, on the understanding that any
monetary costs involved would be borne by the campaign.
Love & Liberty,
((( starchild )))
