Dear All;
Due to the major delay in implementing
the new state budget the 2/3's rule is
coming under very serious attack including
two state constitutional initiative amendments
and various legislative state amendment proposals.
The problem is not the 2/3's majority
requirement it's the legislature that's the
problem with its spend more and more
instead of cut more and more.
To put their toes to the fire as it were the
constitutional amendment should be if no
state budget is approved by midnight June
30 then the state stops issuing checks to
anyone for any reason for any purpose.
