The Libertarian Party of California - Santa Clara Region Presents:
The Inspiring Freedom Forum - Guest Speakers' Evening

Thursday 11 November - 7pm-9:30pm

Topic: Cellular Democracy, A Hierarchy of Small-Group Governance

Featured Speaker: Professor Fred E. Foldvary

Overview: Professor Foldvary will discuss a voluntary form of decentralized, multi-level governance, with associations of a few hundred people electing their governing council that in turn selects a representative to a more regional council, etc. up to the national or even planetary level, and how this would facilitate liberty and mitigate the rent seeking, disenfranchisement and capture of the governing process by institutionalized elements.
