I have just added my comment to today's San Francisco Examiner Editorial in favor of Proposition A. Tried to be very respectful of Farrell's attempt, but giving a solid reason why Prop A would fall short, just as the initiative 4 years earlier did.
Sorry, no link. Just Google SF Examiner and you will see the Editorial.
I regret I will not be at tomorrow's meeting. Instead, I plan to attend the Students For Liberty conference to hear David Friedman and Anthony Gregory speak.
Warm regards, Michael
Hi Michael! We'll miss your no-nonsense timekeeping and dry humor, but enjoy the conference.
Hi Marcy! I posted my 2 cents worth also. Apparently Prop A is not a very sexy issue--only our 2 comments posted.
Yep. Not only is this an off-year municipal election (nobody votes), but Prop A is impossible to figure out. Bart had to read it 3 times before he even grasped whether the year 2020 threshold was still on or not (no it is not); his comment after he finally understood was "What will happen is whatever the City Controller says will happen!" (true!).
