I haven’t seen a run-down on the weekend’s convention. I may post
something if no one else does.
The important parts are:
• Everyone who wanted to be a delegate was elected, and the state ExCom
is empowered to appoint more.
• Wayne Allyn Root won the presidential straw poll, both receiving a
plurality of the first-choice votes, and winning the instant runoff that
Dan Wiener suggested, 31–21 in the final round against Steve Kubby.
Tom Knapp has an interesting discussion of three candidates’ career
claims at <URL:
; I am worried we may end up with another Campagna if we select Root in
Denver.
