I talked to the printer (or actually his assistant this time) about the
shipping situation. He said by using UPS instead of their standard
freight you would only save $25, assuming they could find boxes sized
suitably for holding the 27x39 posters flat, and the risk of damage in
transit is significant (I can attest to that having shipped books viz
UPS on many occasions). The estimated cost of shipping is $150.
