Porn Debate

Tuesday 23 April 2013, 7PM, RiGB
Last week the European Parliament rejected a proposal to ban all forms of pornography across the region. Anna Arrowsmith must have breathed a sigh of relief. She's a pornographic film-maker who will be arguing the merits of porn in the Intelligence Squared debate on 23rd April.

Alongside her will be Dr Clarissa Smith, an academic expert on British sexual cultures and author of One for the Girls! The Pleasures and Practices of Reading Women's Porn.

These women define themselves as feminists, but speaking against them in the debate will be Germaine Greer, probably the best-known of all Britain's feminists. Will she concede that there's such a thing as feminist porn? And what will we hear from Dr Robert Lefever, a renowned therapist who has seen the darkest side of porn addiction?

Find out at our debate. Last few tickets remaining.
