The danger is that libertarians may fall into the same trap. I suspect we
are slightly less likely to, but it's a danger; we must honestly confront
unpleasant facts and questions, and not just recite a mantra of "the
market will provide".
(My personal favorite: we often discuss replacing Social Security with
private retirement funds, but rarely discuss private means of providing
for those unable to work from birth.)
