Some people in the Libertarian Party are trying to turn the party into a "pay-to-play" organization by making it less affordable for people to attend party conventions as delegates. Traditionally there have never been fees for people coming to national conventions to serve as delegates unless they were buying a speaker/meal package, but now there is a misguided attempt by some members of the Libertarian National Committee to charge these volunteers a $94 fee.
I encourage everyone to sign this petition to the party's Judicial Committee asking them to hear the appeal to overturn the fee:
