Please don't double down on these "War on Drugs" tendencies evidenced in the recent vote to ban flavored tobacco products! This proposed moratorium is a really bad idea for many reasons, and once again would be sending precisely the wrong message from San Francisco to people like Jeff Sessions and Donald Trump, not to mention politicians and voters in places where cannabis is still criminalized in the traditional manner.
Please cast your votes on Monday for lower prices and more choices, not crony fascism* where politically connected owners already in place get to shut down their legal competitors before they open, ultimately fueling more corruption and more black market activity, not to mention less freedom, more crime, less affordable medicine for those who need it, and a less prosperous economy.

*Capitalism means free markets, and socialism means government control of the means of production; fascism is an economic system under which private ownership of the means of production is allowed, but only under tight government control. Ironically (given local lip service opposition to fascism), the latter term most accurately describes the system we have in SF today!
