Hi LPSFans,
As you might know, I’ve been working on the state platform committee. Greg was the SF alternate, and Richard was also on the committee, representing Contra Costa county. It was a good group of principled people, and I think we accomplished a lot! I helped with a few planks, but I took the lead on rewriting Freedom of Expression.
We made an initial report, so that we have time to get feedback from everyone before the state convention. Check it out! But, our last meeting is on Sunday, so let me know ASAP if you want me to propose changes.
It was a satisfying experience, and I’d recommend volunteering for the platform committee in the future!
