Paid Ballot Arguments

Dear All,

Thank you to Starchild for mentioning the paid ballot arguments. According to the Elections Department calendar, paid arguments are due by noon August 16 (Monday). They cost $200 in fee, plus $2 per word. A 200 word argument, for example, would be $600.

A ballot argument is indeed a great opportunity to expose the general public to libertarian views. It would be excellent if the LPSF were succeeding in recruiting a lot of members, or otherwise raising funds so that we could take advantage of these opportunities.

For the past year or so, we have been working on "free" outreach via LTE's, the new terrific LPSF website, social networking. Although we are not yet the talk of the town, I have hopes that if we keep the plan up, we can increase our membership, influence, and funds.

But, please do not let me discourage potential donors that might want to contribute toward a paid ballot argument!

Regards,

Marcy

Count me in for $100.

Dear Mike D,

I always so appreciate your willingness to be of help. I commit $50.

Appreciatively,

Marcy

I've also offered Starchild $100 for his argument on J.
