Outreach flier I'm developing

Here’s an outreach piece I’m working on – basically a one-sided 8.5” x 11” paper, front and back sides. I could use some help researching the numbers for each point, if anyone can volunteer to do this.

Let me know what you think!

Love & Liberty,

That message was a little confused! I meant the flier would be two-sided, not one-sided. I may try to fit it on one side for posting purposes though, if I can squeeze enough good bullet points into that space without making it too hard to read.

Anyway, let me know if you have any suggestions for improving it, and whether you’re willing to help by researching any of the numbers. Bonus points for taking ones for which the answers may be tough to find! Just send me your links, and if it’s a long link, where in the link the info cited can be found.

This is a very good idea Starchild……surely a thorough internet search can dig up most of the numbers. Personally I don’t have time to do it but encourage you or others to do so.

Saw this thread and looked at the flyer. Here’s my suggestion.

Include a graph. Keep the information simple and colorful. Visual. Easy to understand. Limited words.

Horizontal line of graph is years (ie: 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 Or whatever dates make sense) that SF has been a One Party State - headed by the Democratic Party.

On vertical left line is $$

Graph out maybe two or three of the most interesting items you mentioned in the flyer. Say:

  • Budget for homeless
  • number of homeless in city
  • number of business regulations and/or housing regulations
  • city gov budget in total

At top, something like
“40 years of the Democratic Party running a One Part City, time for a change”

Thanks Mike and Jon for your input! I agree Mike that Internet searches should be able to turn up most, hopefully all, of the numbers, I’m just trying to get some help with that.

Jon, I don’t recall seeing you post here before, welcome! May I ask how you heard about the LPSF, where you’re from, and what got you interested in libertarianism? (Or maybe you’ve been in the movement for a long time?)

A visual graph illustrating how some of the numbers mentioned in the bullet points have played out over time would be excellent, although this would require finding more data points as well as an added graphic design challenge. Could you help out winth either of these areas? Please feel free to give me a call directly if you prefer.

Anyone else? I’ve attached the document again below, to avoid having to go down through messages and maybe to the Forum website in order to access it.
