In the past we have sometimes discussed the idea of holding our
meetings outdoors during the warm summer months. I propose that we
start an annual tradition of having a potluck meeting outdoors for our
August and September meetings (the months which are usually warmest in
SF).
Somewhere in Golden Gate Park would be one obvious possibility. Or we
could choose a park located in a different part of the city, such as
Dolores Park, South Park, Alamo Square, Buena Vista Park, etc., for
those who are inconvenienced by having to go way out in the Richmond
district the rest of the year. Thoughts? Anyone have any suggestions
for a potential site?
