In Contrast, Costa Rica, with comparably liberal personal carry small handy firearm laws empowering its Citizenry against govts domestic & foreign ( but not #ARMS as the #USgovt Constitution permits by code at least on paper ) & after LEGALIZING ALL drugs nearly decades ago, & ABOLISHING its STANDING MILITARY in 1948, has abundant resources ( tax dollars more humanely utilised or left in the purses of the peasantry ), both government & empowered citizen-directed, to sustain their economy, educational institutions ( with NUMERACY & LITERACY & graduation rates, often bilingual, make #USgovt #govtschools clearly look like the prison indoctrination camps FOR IMBECILES they are in comparison ), sustainable agriculture & environmental resources, & healthy tourism, etc. Having booted out the ( illegal ) #USgovt military base decades ago ( the largest illegal #USgovt occupation military base, South of the US border, is in Honduras ) & replaced it with an incredible agricultural shipping port ( construction assisted by #CNgovt — prioritizing trade over warmongering, as #USgovt founders envisioned in writing for Our corrupt & now clearly “FAILED-STATE” & financially & morally bankrupt nation ).
I know these FACTS because My late Pops was a Costa Rican Native, #USgovt immigrant, on private transnational educational scholarships, & Our US-based Familia has traveled there nearly every two years, to visit CR-based Familia, for as long as I can remember. Costa Rica does have its own foreign paedophiliac scourge, but, unlike surrounding Nations, the #CRgovt is much better at investigating & punishing & deporting those offenders with internationally recognized sex-trafficking records tarring & feathering them for life.
