Dear All; The Postville,IA ICE meatpacking plant raid and prosecution process has created more bad news ripples. The government blueprint for the prosecution process included a model of the guilty pleas that prosecutors planned to offer as well as statements to be made by the judges when they accepted the pleas and handed down sentences. Speedy trials can get real speedy when the prosecution and judges already have a prior agreement worked out what's to be said before any pleas are entered so guilty as charged can move more smoothly. Why waste time on time consuming trials before juries to hear actual evidence. Plea bargain out the charges and avoid messy trials. The fact remains based on all the revelations to date all of the guilty convictions need to be overturned based on prosecutorial misconduct aided and abetted by the federal judges.
