New Orleans was a city that depended on the Federal government to plan
and engineer it's protection. The gevernmetn levee brike. The analogy
to the government's mangement of banking and finance is apparent. When
a storm breaks the levee it will takw a long time to dry out and many
will suffer.

What the heck, I will go ahead and pound it. Remember earlier in this
thread we were treated to rafts of links on how bright and shining the
economy was with lots of bling bling for everyone. Now we saw all the
poor people literally left behind for lack of means to leave the city
before the deluge. The economy sucks for millions, and ceaseless
inflation starves the alredy poor, sick and elderly, who normally
suffer in quiet desperation, not on thier rooftops for all the world
to see on BBC and CNN. Of course the socialists will see all of this
as a narural didaster not a predictable failure of government
engineering, both as regards the levee and the economy.I'll hammer in
the morning, I'll hammer in the evening, I'll hammer out love between
my brother and my sisters, all all over this laand.
