Hi All,

Pretty fine article by Starchild on www.LPSF.org. For those new to The City or too young to remember the "counter culture," this is must-read. The article also indicates what could be done to get rid of today's paint by the numbers soul of The City.

Thanks, Marcy! The piece isn't really about the counterculture though -- it's about trying to help those who appreciate the aesthetics of the counterculture to understand that statism is not the best way to fight chain stores and gentrification, and that a different approach is possible.
