Rob Morse has the most cogent solution to the state budget crisis I've yet seen when he writes, "Let's cancel everything the state of California has acquired since, say, 1950...".
If we took his advice to "Terminate all those extra employees, many of whom are middle managers and aides who aren't doing anything," there'd be enough extra money in the economy to find them real jobs instead. Instead, politicians like Mark Leno think that the answer is for us to add new layers of taxation.
I nominate Rob Morse to run for governor if the recall gets on the ballot.
