MORE ON POLITICAL PURITY TEST! Re: How far into the swamp do we set the tent poles?

Try this political matchmaking test for a different way of
gauging your politics. It's referred to as "The Political
Matchmaking Test". When I originally took it several years ago I
never knew there was such a thing as the Libertarian Party.

I finally found a political party through a political
matchmaking happenstance whose beliefs were a mirror of my
beliefs and matched them to a crossed "t" and the dotted "i".

That's a neat one, short and sweet and reasonably accurate. Here
are my scores:

1) Libertarian Party 89%
2) Constitution Party 58%
3) Democratic Party 42%
4) Reform Party 42%
5) Republican Party 37%
6) Green Party 26%
7) Natural Law Party 21%

Several years back I ran across a larger quiz online, specifically
comparing the positions of the presidential candidates from each
party that year. The Libertarian Party candidate came out as a
strong first place match for me, with the Socialist Party
candidate being a close second. The Republican Party candidate was
near the bottom, and the Democratic Party candidate was somewhere
in the middle. The results seemed entirely appropriate.

Hmm, it was probably this one, but I don't remember so many banner
ads before, and my results are slightly different this time:

Now it's giving me Badnarik, Cobb, and Nader tied for first; Bush,
Lieberman, and Hagelin near the bottom; and other Democrats,
Socialist Party, and Constitution Party candidates scattered
through the middle; which actually seems more accurate than the
shorter quiz above.

Justin
