Money from LPSF Membership/Pizza Fund- Ron Paul

For the record, we're not exactly being renegades in the LP for
talking about or supporting Ron Paul here. The Libertarian National
Committee just met and voted to pass a resolution asking Ron Paul to
run for president as a Libertarian if he does not win the GOP
nomination. They also voted to allow the Paul campaign to use the
LP's Ballot Base program for volunteers to call people in New
Hampshire. Both motions passed *unanimously*.

Love & Liberty,
        ((( starchild )))

It is a very difficult issue, but I suppose those who oppose Paul
would agree with what was said by a Paul supporter at the
republican Alliance dinner..."We don't want our money back, we want
our country back"

Personally I have tried to be restrained in what I post here on
Paul. Most of us who are interested have other sources. This is not
a forum that is unaware.

Well actually I believe the record shows we had a discussion about
whether or not to include Ron Paul items in the discuss list and it
was determined (and actually suggested by some as a solution to the
dilemma) that contributions to the LPSF to strengthen and support
the LPSF would make it right who were not sure. If I’m mistaken,
please let me know so my mind can be changed. As a supporter of the
LPSF I was prepared to go “extra” in keeping with my verbal
contract to do so.

Best

Mike

As a Ron Paul supporter- one who had a hard time with
the concept but notwithstanding changed her voter
registration to republican to be able to vote for him
in the primaries- I have to admit I was not delighted
that there was Ron Paul discussion on this Libertarian
list.

Mike, are you saying that you promised to make a
donation to the LPSF in order that discussion of Ron
Paul be allowed on the list, or just that you promised
to make a donation to the LPSF and you are grateful
that discussion of R.P. was allowed on the list? My
reading of your post suggests the former, and I have
to admit to being a little horrified. (Party of
Principle and all that stuff....)
Please correct me if I am wrong. I really hope I
misunderstood.
Best,
Francoise
