Fried takes on some of the tougher libertarian positions but framed for uninformed. I especially liked the part where he stated reporters should not have any special protections. Check it out..

Hi David and All,
Yes, good Commonwealth Club talk!...And today (Monday) Peter O'Rourke
was on NPR's Talk of the Nation, discussing Adam Smith's The Wealth of
Nations. I thought he did a great job summarizing this huge book in
just a few well chosen sentences. Also gave a very good explanation
of "negative" (Constitutional) vs. "positive" (political) rights. So,
we are not alone!
BTW, for those who might feel Adam Smith might have been oblivious of
moral imperatives (like he was saying let them eat cake), O'Rourke
suggested Smith first book Theory of Moral Sentiment.
