Orange: An Art Walk Through the Mission

Curated by students of the Intersection for the Arts Institute, presented in conjunction with Intersections' Prison Project exhibition.

Orange is a collection of shows located in various venues in the 16th street area of the Mission. It explores our response to the ideas of cleanliness, restraint, surveillance, and other issues related to incarceration.

The walk is meant to extend the conversation about the California prison system's impact on local communities into the community.

Begins at Intersection for the Arts, 446 Valencia Street, between 15th and 16th street, San Francisco, Ca 94103.

Reception Saturday February 23rd at noon, followed by Art Walk.
