As you may be aware, the Libertarian National Committee is currently in the process of considering locations for the party's 2012 presidential nominating convention, and San Francisco is one of three "finalist" locations, along with Dallas and Las Vegas. Reportedly the body will be making a decision at their meeting in New Orleans this coming weekend.
If you could volunteer to help at a convention held in the San Francisco area in June 2012, have additional ideas for local speakers or events, or other feedback on my message below to LNC members on behalf of the Libertarian Party of San Francisco, please let me know.
