Measure Z results in Oakland bode well for marijuana relegalization

The following message notes that Measure Z -- the Oakland Cannabis initiative to make law enforcement related to private adult marijuana use, distribution, sale, cultivation and possession the City's lowest law enforcement priority and direct the City to lobby to change state and federal laws to legalize, tax and regulate marijuana for adult private use -- passed by 65.2%. The author believes this shows that similar measures could be successful elsewhere, and I agree. Something to consider as a possible ballot measure to promote in SF.
