While poking around on the Libertarian Party of California site, I also noticed May 1 is listed as the deadline (http://ca.lp.org/convention-2015-deadlines) to select a Platform Committee rep. from our region for the upcoming state convention.
Who is planning to go to the convention? It's May 31 in Las Vegas, with several other events happening the same weekend -- the Nevada LP's convention, the Libertarian state chairs' meeting, and the Libertarian Political Expo -- http://www.lpex.org/).
Would anyone like to be on the Platform Committee? I usually do it, but I am on the Bylaws Committee this year (not that I couldn't conceivably do both, but if anybody is interested...). Main qualification needed AFAIC is to be committed to keeping our party platform strongly libertarian and resisting efforts to water it down.
