FYI, here are the minutes from the April meeting of the Marin
Libertarian Party which I meant to send earlier. I'm sure the
formatting looks a lot better in the original prepared by Matt Turley
which didn't translate well on my computer, but I thought I'd pass
along the raw info in the interests of greater regional communication.

Following are strategies that the MLP will deploy toward accomplishing
the mission:
Provide innovative libertarian solutions to relevant problems.
Enlighten Marin County residents about issues that threaten their
freedom.
Increase the number of registered Libertarians and MLP members.
Support Libertarian candidates who advocate Libertarian

Following are ideas that were suggested for an MLP summer event:

Woolsey/Nation debate
current event discussion: focus on a particular topic, such as eminent
domain - bring in experts, panel, lawyers, other candidates for local
offices
film screening / festival
Introduce MLP and distribute politically-homeless quizzes
Host a Libertarian booth at a local fair
objectives: cover 4 strategies outlined in mission statement
Need a venue. Current ideas include: San Rafael Community center, maybe
a hotel conference room
Publicity mailings (target 800 @ 5% attendance = 40 attendees)
