Christopher Schmidt of the San Mateo Libertarian Party reminds absentee voters that the time to get your ballots in is NOW, and if you want to make absolutely certain your vote is counted, you must drop your ballot off at City Hall personally rather than putting it in the mail (see details below).
Personally, I recommend against voting absentee unless you think you won't be around or able to vote on Election Day, because the longer the authorities have the completed ballots in their possession, the greater the opportunities for vote fraud.
