Hi all,

I won’t be able to make today’s meeting; I’m swamped at work. If Jeff
attends, I hope he fills you all in on our experiences at Porcfest in New
Hampshire, and the fantastic Body Freedom Village he created there.

LPSF’s funds total $11,761.15 as of July 10, 2021.

Thanks Greg! Yes, Jeff shared a bit about PorcFest. Didn’t recall you were going too. Glad it went so well, sorry I couldn’t be there. Any other highlights or observations about the event? Is “Buzz’s Big Gay Dance Party” still happening? Any visible presence/interference from the State? Did you guys see former LPSF chair Aubrey there (you met him, right Jeff?)?

Hi Starchild and All. Sorry, but I did not see Jeff or Greg at PorcFest.
This was my third PorcFest, and I only go up for the day on Saturday.
Although the event was completely sold out this time and there was concern
about the campground being able to handle the crowd, a friend of mine from
the Lakes Region Porcupines who served as a PorcRanger reported that
problems and trouble were minimal even with an overflow crowd. The only
speakers I heard this time were Naomi Wolf and Scott Horton. I was very
impressed with the former; for a progressive, yet firmly against the
lockdowns, vaccine passports, and government busybodism, she sounded pretty
libertarian to me, and I don’t think she was pandering to the crowd. Scott
was very informative about the US Government’s foreign escapades, but not a
dynamic speaker like Naomi.

As a pleasant surprise, I don’t remember if you recall Annie who attended a
few of our meetings a few years ago (she lived in the North Bay and had a
dance studio in The City). I ran into her and her daughter at PorcFest and
had a great chat with her. She moved here about 2 years ago and is very
happy here and never looked back. Also ran into Lily Tang Williams and her
husband who live here now and gabbed with them for a bit.

I hope you guys are all doing well in San Francisco and getting over the
lockdowns. The one we had here was bad enough, but we’ve been mostly open
for well over a year, and it seems that whatever I hear from California
(and the Bay Area in particular)–always going from bad to worse😱. Miss
you guys but not The People’s Republic of California!
