LPSF Agenda for 10/8/05

Hi All,

Here is the Agenda for the next LPSF meeting, cut and pasted below and
in the Files section of this list.

We will discuss endorsements of City ballot measures and candidates on
the November 8 election. The official LPSF endorsements will appear
on the Newsletter to be published as soon as possible after the
meeting.

To refresh my memory, I looked at past agendas to determine time
allocated to the endorsement process. I found one to one-and-a-half
hours of discussion and voting.

I also looked at a couple of past minutes covering past endorsement
meetings, and did not find that candidates or ballot proponents /
opponents were present during the actual discussion and voting. I
realize that some of you wanted to have such guests at this meeting.
Please feel free to invite candidates, etc. to speak before the
discussion and voting, which will start around 4:00 pm.

Marcy
