[lpny_kings] Nominating charlatans

You forgot to mention Warren Redlich. That was more of a disaster and
someone that YOU Mark Axinn pushed through for the nomination even though
his views were notoriously anti-Libertarian.

At least Howard Stern and William Weld pretended to be a Libertarian and
joined to get our nomination before they dropped out. Warren Redlich never
made any pretense of being Libertarian and never joined our party nor did
he ever apply to become a member or sign the pledge.

Sam Sloan

Snowden is a whole different ball game.

I'm looking over the history of the California congressional districts adjoining and including Pelosi's 12th district, San Francisco city and county.

The 1st and 2nd districts, north of the Golden Gate Bridge, extending to Oregon are familiar to me and have been Republican strongholds until redistricting and the GOP debacles have swung the 2nd's coastal areas, to the DP, with Huffman pounding Roberts 71%-29%

In the first district's inland areas, RP, LaMalfa defeated Lathe Gill 68%-32%

Somebody in SF will be better to begin the analysis of Pelosi's12th district. Others more familiar with their surrounding districts can do the same.

The LP has a terrific opportunity in these districts where the minority voters have been disenfranchised by their
big-government-war-party's BS.

The news might read:
"NYC joins SF, in Libertarian coalition to unseat Pelosi".

More conversation.
I just spoke with Queens County chairman. They will discuss the possibilities of how we could align.

Sorry, but I must inform you that the Queens County Chairman Tom Stevens is
persona non grata with Mark Axinn and his group. This is the problem with
many branches of the Libertarian Party. They spend so much time fighting
each other they do not have time to fight the real
enemies.

If you will look at officers of the New York Libertarian Party you will see
the word "vacant" next to the Queens name. That is the reason.

Sam Sloan

That's what happens when there is too much time to waste.

And it
doesn't matter if they hate each other, so long as their guns are
pointed in the same general direction. That requires the the real work
of politics.

Anybody can create ideology, in a cave somewhere.
But creating consensus and teamwork is a bold "roll up the sleeves, get moving, and get busy" thing.

What matters, is how many people will take the field.

This a good thing compared to no consensus.

I just had another chat with Dr. Stevens...no problem there, as far as he knows. We can check with Mark to confirm.
