I hope this reworking of the material I sent you previously is helpful, and look forward to continuing the discussion of these and other ideas for advancing the cause of freedom at the local level in California. I had a good phone chat with John the other night, and was glad to see that we seem to be generally on the same page regarding the problems with the state party and the need for reform. By the way, I don't recall whether we already spoke about this, but I received your email about the NorCal Liberty Summit you have planned for September 20-22 in Sacramento (which is certainly a natural location for such a northern California regional event to take place) and have put it on my calendar. I would be happy to speak at this event on local activism in SF, what's going on with the Libertarian National Committee, what reforms I believe we need in the LP and LPC to make us more effective, the broader topic of grassroots bottom-up governance, and/or my experiences as a candidate, or potential other topic(s).
