Honesty might require that one point out that Log Cabin had a new director in 2003-2006, Patrick Guerrero, now with the with Gill Action Fund (which LP gay candidates should approach for financial support), who raised money to run an ad opposing Bush during the 2004 election. The ad consisted in part of footage of Cheney and others opposing a federal marriage amendment
This caused some Log Cabin board members, including a neighbor of mine who raised money for Bush and is a Bush political appointee, to leave the board in 2004-2005. Thay may leave the group more libertarian than it was before. If you go to their meetings there are people there who call themselves libertarians, as well as conservatives and even liberals.
